Christina Epplen

Christina, born and raised in Munich, comes with over ten years of leadership and consulting experience gained across large-scale strategic transformation programs globally within the financial industry. She is passionate about driving change and bringing a vision to life with the capacity to balance strategic thinking, creativity and planning with sound decision-making and results.
 

Coming from an international business and legal background, she has genuine interest in understanding what truly drives individuals combined with empathetic and diplomatic strength. In her time at Allianz Group, she established interdisciplinary change, transformation and innovation teams and developed related frameworks for execution. She acted as strategic advisor to the board of AllianzGI for trends and latest technologies and supported with crisis management and intervention.
 

Next to her corporate career, Christina co-founded menzinger GmbH, an equipment rental company for construction work within the wider area of Munich, Bavaria, followed by a subdivision for reselling office furniture and self-storage.

Christina graduated from Zeppelin University and UC Berkeley in Corporate Management and Economics and completed LL.M. Business Law courses at HfH. She is part of the 100Women in Finance network and Investment & Wealth Institute Member.

 

Other facts: Christina loves the sun (especially in California and Portugal) and is passionate about travel, architecture and design, and always up for some good conversation paired with a good glass of wine.
